Each Bespoke Flying Jacket that we make is made from high quality, double faced sheepskin which is especially tanned for 'Aviator Jackets'.
The Aviator Sheepskin has a luxuriously soft 'Honey' coloured fur which is available in two lengths 15mm and 22mm. The outer side has a smooth water repellent finish which is available in Dark Brown or Black.
Each Jacket is made using matching leather for its components eg belts, collar back, pocket bags etc.
Each seam is overlocked and covered using leather strips and double-stitched for added strength.
The zips which we use are high quality, heavy duty brass.
Inside Pockets are optional and can be added with or without zips for a small additional charge.

15mm fur is adequate for UK weather conditions. Many 'Pilot' customer's who fly open cockpit aeroplanes find the 15mm fur to be ideal for average sub-zero temperatures.

22mm fur makes a thicker jacket which is more in line with the wartime flying jackets and great for more extreme sub-zero temperatures.
